摘要：O presente trabalho examina a presença dos elementos característicos do choro tradicional nos âmbitos melódico, harmônico, rítmico e formal no Choro Torturado de Camargo Guarnieri buscando investigar os afastamentos composicionais em relação ao paradigma da definição de choro vigente em sua época. Estes afastamentos estão fundamentados basicamente no conceito de pantonalidade estabelecido por Rudolph Reti (1958). Palavras-chave: choro, Guarnieri, pantonalidade, análise musical.
其他摘要：This study aims at identifying the presence of characteristic elements of the traditional choro in the melodic, harmonic, rhythmic and formal aspects in Camargo Guarnieri’s piano work Choro Torturado. The purpose is to determine the level of compositional departure in this piece by establishing a relationship with a paradigm of the choro genre of the same period.
