摘要：The article focus on the Frederick Forbes travels to Dahomey in the 19th century. These documents are well known in the historiography of Western Africa, but the author aims to examine Forber’s perceptions of the Atlantic slave trade, an England concern regarding the African coast in the first half of the 19 th century.
