摘要：WiMAX technology is considered as the one of the most important technology that is competent to provide a broadband wireless access in metropolitan area and supports numerous multiple antenna choices including space time block codes (STBC) using adaptive modulation and coding (AMC). This paper proposed new studies of performance analysis of SISO/MISO WiMAX systems under various type of fading. The contribution of this work is threefold; first, it compares between the different types of fading and their effect on the transmitted signal. Second, study in details the effect of the AMC in the considered systems and shows the effect of using OFDM in the system. Third, design a GUI for the considered systems using different type of the WiMAX modulation techniques. In terms of BER and throughput, the results show that it is possible to switch the order of the modulation and coding rate in order to match the channel condition.
