摘要：Brazil will host the most important sports events from 2013 and, with them, reforms in airports are expected to increase their size in order to support much more passengers than the traditional. Therefore, it is in the interest of the airport responsible and event organizers to improve the level of security of luggage transportation. This paper aims to describe a project based on RFID (which is already used to identify and locate objects) whose goals to tracking luggage, already applied to some airports outside Brazil, also to offer an efficient solution to identify passengers in arrival and their luggage. It is hoped with this project to difficult the cases of abductions of luggage, ensuring that they are leaving the airport with their respective owners, beside to facilitate tracking them, decreasing the misplacement situations
