摘要:This article analyzes the impact of the decrease in work incumbencies (foreseen in the law number 11.324 of July 19th, 2006) over the legalization of house servant. To construct the control group it was adopted the Propensity Score Matching methodology and to estimate the causal effect of the law over formalization we implement a differences-in-differences estimator. It was used data from Pesquisa Mensal de Emprego for 2004 to 2007. The results concerning the law effect were inconclusive, as some estimates give a positive and significant effect while others do not show any effect
