摘要:Investigação sobre as principais razões que levaram a Administração dos Correios do Brasil a escolher o franchising como formato organizacional para o atendimento postal no país.
其他摘要:The adoption offranchising as an organizational format by a public enterprise is so singular a decision that is deserves attention from both the academic and policy viewpoints. To investigate the main reasons which might explain the choice, this paper comparatively interprets secondary information concerning the mainstream ideas appearing in the relevant literature. It may be said that wide convergence has been found between the literature surveyed and the reasons likely to have operated the observed choices. Asit might be expected, the dominant role of franchising as an effective way to allow firm growth under shortage of investment resources seems to have been confirmed in the case studied here.
