摘要:This article presents the preliminary results of an anthropological research about cooking books in Brazil. The research covers books from the beginning of the century to the year of 2003. Through comparisons and analyses of titles and summaries we show the changes in habits, taste, notion of health, body, gender and family that have ocurred in Brazilian society in the last century. We conclude calling attention to the recent establishment of a Brazilian gastronomical culture.
