摘要:The text analyzes the process, by which the reservation of places for afro-descendents in Brazilian public universities has been transformed, in the last five years, into a political strategy of the black movement, able to assemble other claims and to mobilize state and civil society actions. Analyzing the trajectory of this movement, it is possible to perceive how the reservation of places for afro-descendents comes out in the context of its action and becomes a political strategy since 2001 and the III World Conference Against Racism, held in Durban, South Africa.
