摘要:The article questions the validity of a traditional dichotomy which intends to evaluate political and social representation of the media on the basis of a distinction between 'public interest' and 'interest of the public' (i.e. of the audience) Instead, we focuse on the notion of political institutionalization of the media, taking as an empirical basis the analysis of the ways in which local mediatic-political prestige, mainly through a kind of 'civic journalism', based on stories related to the exercise of citizenship and to consumer's defense.
