摘要:The article examines American Indian cultural resistance as expressed in the "conquest dances" represented today in their lands: Peru, Bolivia, Mexico and Guatemala. It brings to life the visible trauma of these displays, recognised as a phenomenon to be faced over a long period, but at the same time seeks to the "dances" in the context of the current-day picture of the oppressed indigenous peoples in the Americas. This is archieved by using the concept of cultural circularity.
