摘要：Those who are economically well off may admit that global poverty is a great evil that demands significant action on their part but also believe that morality -- duty or obligation -- cannot reasonably require them to make great sacrifices. We may resolve this tension if we think less in terms of the duties of individuals to the word's poor and more in terms of collective action; that is, in terms of the institutions, policies, and practices that make it easier for the wealthy to help the poor and more likely that the poor will receive the help they need.
