摘要：This study will examine the productivity of GEMS’ journals published in the year 2013. The editor was Dr. Colleen Pinar. Fifteen author’s submissions were accepted for publications into GEMS between September and December 2013. The most downloaded article was Snapshot reflections: Targeting young boys singing girls’ gongs in school by Dr. Miroslav Pavle Manovski. The most downloaded book review was Anthology of essays on Deep Listening edited by Monique Buzzarté & Tom Bickley written by Kathleen DeLaurenti. The most viewed/downloaded journal was the November 2013 issue. Overall productivity of GEMS journals published in the year 2013 totaled 1069 abstract views and 2040 download were encouraging numbers. For the year 2014, these numbers increased. The 2014 abstract views increased 3120 times, to a total of 4189 abstract views. The 2014 downloads increased by 4098 times, to a total of 6138 downloads. These totals represent a continued interest in the articles published in 2013 and that the promotion and marketing of GEMS to new readers has been successful.
