摘要：In this work we will discuss on the contribution made by Alan Turing (1912-1954) towards a mathematical foundation of Developmental Biology. To do so, we will briefly review the approach he laid out in his only published work on the subject, and then describe the impact of his work on Mathematics on one hand, and on Biology on the other.
