摘要：Bathing, particularly thermal baths, which were therapeutic, but also cold baths, became an occasion for social gatherings in late-medieval Catalonia, especially among the elite. It had the sanction of the prestigious university medicine, but it was nevertheless an activity condemned by moralists, a situation that is frequently reflected in literary works. The characteristics of the medical literature market account for the absence of specialised treatises on this subject during this period.
