摘要：This paper studies some cultural transformations of subaltern sectors of the city of Concepcion during XIX century. It is specially centered in aspects concerned with evolution and valoration of work and education ideas. Two central aspects go through this article: the social control dynamic occurred within an economical and political structure of liberal and the state hegemony building.
