摘要：This article analyzes the organization of a failed conspiracy occurred in 1858 in Tucumán. The essay focuses on the set of motivations that led to a diverse group of indivi - duals to mobilize and participate in the unsuccessful conspiracy, within the framework of an unstable provincial political life but enrolled in a decisive process of institutionalization.
