摘要：The paper proposes a revision of the discourse and practice of the National Catholicism in the Argentine Republic during the last military dictatorship, the self called “Proceso de Reorganización Nacional”, through its print means, the Cabildo magazine. This paper analyses the trajectory of the magazine, since its initial support to the military forces -under the condition for the military forces to set in motion the “national revolution”- to the increasingly hard criticism as far as the militaries in the government were not willing to carry out the revolution promoted in the magazine. In addition, the paper shows how the military occupation of the Falkland Islands —one of the main nationalistic claims— facilitated a short period of closer relation between the magazine and the military forces, something that concluded with the Argentine defeat in the South Atlantic War.
