摘要:This paper argues for the use of the so called Harmonic Proportion or Golden Proportion in a specific kind of Iberian Iron Age sculptures from southern Gallaecia. We suggest that the employment of such a sophisticated concept in the solution of a set of technical problems points at the existence of a specialized craftsman. We suggest that warrior sculptures were an instrument legitimating a ruling social group in the context of a complex chiefdom. These sculptures were used as ideological artefacts during Gallaecia’s Late Iron Age, and as a material representation of the social power.
