摘要：The discussion on the nature of political philosophy finds in the Straussian commentary of Xenophon’s Hieron , the public debate with Kojève and their correspondence, a privileged place to inform about the objective that persecutes Strauss - the defense of «classic» conception of philosophy that must be defended of the accusations which it is put from the instances of political power. Parallelly it is a clear sample of the divergent position of Kojève on the matter, considering the relation between wisdom and tyranny as the extreme form of the relation between philosophy and politics.
