摘要:The aim of this paper is to revise some of the controversies around the meaning of the concept of development as well as to analyze the practical implications of the androcentric bias that inform its historical and political construction. We present the main feminist critiques to the theory and practice of development in the context of the crisis provoked by two main corrections to the concept: sustainability and the focus on human capacities. Different approaches have maintained the need of rethinking development from ecological constrictions, human needs or capacities and, finally, from the point of view of gender equality. Our tentative proposal is to initiate an exploration of this unstable conjunction in order to contribute to the construction of an ecofeminist theory of justice.
