摘要:Environmental education is considered a key factor for the formation of a citizenry conscious of the need to move toward a sustainable society. Without attempting to offer a comprehensive explanation of all aspects of this issue, this article highlight, from the perspective of gender, the persistence of certain oppressive dualisms related to the paired concepts of Culture and Nature. Based on this analysis, the article proposes that certain values and attitudes that historically have been devalued and marginalized as feminine be integrated into a conceptualization of environmental education that takes up the challenges facing us in the twenty-first century.
