摘要：Abstract – ITNelle pagine di Ihara Saikaku, tra i massimi scrittori giapponesi del periodo Edo (XVII secolo), è possibile ricavare informazioni preziose sui primi decenni del teatro kabuki, una delle forme tradizionali di teatro giapponese. In particolare i suoi interpreti, talora censurati dalle autorità ma idolatrati da ogni classe sociale per le loro straordinarie doti tecniche e la loro avvenenza, sono i protagonisti di buona parte dei racconti inclusi nella silloge dal titolo Nanshoku ōkagamu(Il grande specchio dell’omosessualità maschile), pubblicata per la prima volta nel 1687. Abstract – ENIn the pages of Ihara Saikaku, one of the greatest Japanese writers of the Edo period (seventeenth century), it is possible to obtain valuable information about the early decades of Kabuki theatre, a form of traditional Japanese theatre. Its male actors, sometimes censored by the authorities but idolized by every social class for their outstanding technical skills and their graceful beauty, are the main characters of most of the stories included in the anthology entitled Nanshoku ōkagamu (The great mirror of male homosexuality), first published in 1687.
