摘要：The data from the Brazilian Census of 2000 began to be made public only in 2002 and the beginning of 2003. However, since then the data regarding religion has been very useful in the interpretation of religious reality in this country, and now we are approaching the next Census. The abundance of data regarding the Census creates a very complex process of interpretation and comparison. This text begins a multivariate analysis that seeks to procure a comparative picture of religious groups that are taken into consideration as social dimensions of the diverse groups that are present in the sampling.
