摘要：O artigo discute como se constituem os interrogatórios policiais em uma delegacia de polícia brasileira e quais são as características que os tornam diferentes dos interrogatórios policiais investigados em outros contextos. Para que se estabeleça esta comparação, tomam-se como base os estudos sobre interrogatórios policiais conduzidos por Shuy (1998), nos Estados Unidos, por Komter (2003), na Holanda, e por Heydon (2005), na Austrália. Percebe-se que, enquanto os interrogatórios policiais na Austrália, Estados Unidos e Holanda assemelham-se na forma como são conduzidos (supressão de expressões de simpatia, de afiliação ou de desafiliação com os depoentes, utilização de jargão técnico ao longo de todo o interrogatório, entre outros), os interrogatórios policiais brasileiros do contexto investigado divergem de todos esses em vários aspectos. Os principais fenômenos responsáveis por tal dissonância são: (1) o uso da ironia, (2) a criação de hipóteses sem o uso de metalinguagem e (3) a projeção de avaliações sobre situações envolvidas no crime, sobre tópicos mencionados pelo depoente e sobre próprio depoente. Os interrogatórios conduzidos pelos policiais brasileiros são também permeados por risos, por posições de não-neutralidade, por afiliação e desafiliação por parte dos policiais, opções essas que parecem atribuir características de conversas cotidianas àquelas interações. 其他摘要：The article discusses how police interrogations in a Brazilian police station are constituted and what characteristics make them different from police interrogations investigated in other cultural contexts. We take as bases for comparison studies of police interrogation conducted by Shuy (1998), in the USA, by Komter (2003), in the Netherlands, and by Heydon (2005), in Australia. Whereas the police interrogations in Australia, USA and the Netherlands are similar in the way they are conducted (avoidance of expressions of sympathy, affiliation or disaffiliation with the deponents, use of technical jargon throughout the interrogation, among others), the Brazilian police interrogations in the context investigated diverge from all of those in several aspects. The main phenomena responsible for such dissonance are: (1) use of irony, (2) creation of hypotheses without making use of metalanguage, and (3) use of evaluations about situations concerning the crime, topics mentioned by the deponent, and the deponent himself/ herself. The interrogations conducted by the Brazilian police officers are also permeated by laughter, less caution with regards to maintaining a position of neutrality, affiliation and disaffiliation by the officers, options that seem to give characteristics of spontaneous conversations to those interactions.
