摘要：O presente artigo tem por escopo discutir o conceito de reprodução social e cultural via escolarização, analisando suas reais potencialidades e contribuições para a construção de um discurso de resistência em educação. Almeja-se, a partir de um método comparativo, verificar a existência de conexões entre os paradigmas da reprodução e da resistência. Para isso, são apresentadas as principais características de ambos os conjuntos teóricos, algumas vezes confrontando-os, com o intuito de encontrar elementos teóricos comuns.Palavras-chave: educação, reprodução social, reprodução cultural, consciência política.
其他摘要：This paper discusses the concept of social and cultural reproduction through schooling and analyzes its actual potential and its contributions to the construction of a discourse of resistance in education. On the basis of a comparative method, it examines the presence of connections between the paradigms of reproduction and resistance. For this purpose, it describes the main features of both sets of theories, sometimes confronting them in order to fi nd common theoretical elements.Key words: education, social reproduction, cultural reproduction, political consciousness.
