摘要:This article aims to analyze learning activities that are highly present in the school institution and greatly asked for by teachers, especially within the first years of fundamental teaching. Based on the premises of Progressive Pedagogy, particularly Historical and Critical Pedagogy, it aims to explorer the tacit meaning of school research in order to discuss the possibilities of its school historical and critical meaning through contents and form. The different meanings of research within social practice are investigated, and a school research proposal foregrounded on this pedagogy is given. Current investigation concludes that research is a human activity and, consequently, requires intellectual work and effort so that it may contribute towards the real process of the students’ learning and development.
