摘要：Im Jahre 1973 fand auf Einladung von St. K. Kozlowski das erste Treffen „Mesolithic in Europe" in Warschau statt, welches in den Jahren 1978 (Potsdam), 1985 (Edinburgh), 1990 (Leuven), 1995 (Grenoble) und 2000 (Stockholm) wiederholt wurde. Zu allen Symposien liegen die Beiträge vor, und rund 300 Artikel vermitteln auf etwa 3.600 Druckseiten den aktuellen und unfassenden Forschungsstand zum vornehmlich nordeuropäischen Mesolithikum. Dabei spielte die deutsche Mittelsteinzeit-Forschung zunächst einetragende Rolle, erfuhr jedoch aufgrund reduzierter finanzieller Mittel und fehlender Arbeitsstellen einen erheblichen Bedeutungsverlust. 其他摘要：In 1973, the first international meeting "Mesolithic in Europe", initiated by St. K. Kozlowski, took place in Warsaw. This first Symposium was repeated in 1978 (Potsdam), 1985 (Edinburgh), 1990 (Leuven), 1995 (Grenoble) and 2000 (Stockholm). From each meeting the Organizers have published conferencecontributions and more than 300 articles with altogether 3.600 pages convey a current and comprehensive information concerning especially Northern European research in Mesolithic science. At the beginning, German Mesolithic research played an important role, which has constantly decreased due to reduced financial support and missing jobs. It is to be hoped that this negative tendency will not increase and the German Mesolithic research will be better supported in the future.
