  • 摘要:Contextual approach is teaching-learning conception, which helps teachers relate their teaching materials to be presented with their pupil's real life. This approach also encourages the pupils to relate the knowledge they receive with their real life, such as family, society, and work world. Contextual Teaching-Learning is characterized with five basic concepts, i.e. problems-based learning, learning through project, practical application, learning through work situation, and cooperative learning. By cooperative learning, the pupils can improve their linguistic competence and integrate it with the teaching content, that is to enhance their communication activity.
