摘要：The article proposes an analysis of the historiography of elites in Argentina. The main purpose is not to review and syn- thesize the research problems and discussions that took place in this branch of Argentine historiography, but to identify the influence of the contributions of social theory (especially anthropological and sociological) in the renovation of the historical study of Argentine elites. As a result of this exploration, the article reflects on the limits and possibilities of the links between social theory and historical research.
