摘要:The main objective of this research is to propose a training plan designed to complement the current teacher training in emergency administration that enables the implementation of self-protection actions in school as well as encourage prevention of emergencies and disasters within the socialization process of students secondary education. On this basis, this study was framed within the descriptive type of research, is developed in the form of mixed-source research design, because data were collected in their natural environment (the school) and documentary analysis. The population and the sample are composed of school managers, teacher staff and workers of the Unidad Educativa Rafael Antonio Uzcátegui, located in the Urbanización El Bosque, Mérida. It was chosen as a case study, a total of 20 people representing 100 % of staff working in this institution. It was applied to the development of documentary research, the documentary analysis technique, and written survey techniques was applied for the fieldwork research. The instruments used included the tab for the collection of document analysis, and a questionnaire composed of 11 closed and semi-closed questions. The instrument (questionnaire) was validated by three specialists in the areas of School Safety Research Methodology and Integral Education. In conclusion, it was found in this investigation that teachers need to be informed, prepared and equipped with the necessary tools in order to multiply self-protective actions in students to reduce thethe risk of emergencies and disasters.
