摘要:This paper presents the modeling and construction of a Learning Object for the study of Statistical Mathematics (EstatísticaNet) being developed in Flash, in order to provide students with a tool that deals, in an interesting way, with contents in Statistics, by arousing their curiosity, and collaborating to the construction of their knowledge through interaction. Among other reasons, the choice of this theme derives from the incipient amount of material for the study of this curricular component that incorporates text, images and sound, as well as other tools that enable construction of meaningful learning. The pedagogical concept of EstatísticaNet considers the computer as a creative intellectual environment, as it is a resource that enables students to interact, simulate, and test, therefore, providing the student with autonomy in the construction of cognitive meaning. Key words: Learning Objects, Construction of knowledge, Cognitive tools.
