摘要:The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of income, relative income and level of religiosity on life satisfaction, which effect is greater. The research approach is quantitative with questionnaire data source by 96 pilgrims KBIH X Malang and analyzed using multinomial logit models. Consistent with the theory of hedonic adaptation and social comparison theory, estimates show that its income someone lower than his friend own chance 0.002 times greater for achieve low levels of life satisfaction, someone past its income is less than currently income has 0.004 times the chance of achieving life satisfaction medium level and someone with high levels of religiosity have the same opportunities to achieve low levels of life satisfaction compared to someone with a low level of religiosity. This shows the influence of the small Islamic doctrine on assessing the relationship between income and satisfaction of life.
