摘要：The Regency of Bantul is region which has high development number of industry in the Province of special Region of Yogyakarta, but in fact, this sector has not optimized in exploring the potency of its industry. The main problem of this research is what the characteristic of industries in Bantul based on the aspect of human resource, location, investation, productivity, and intercorrelation.The objective of this research is knowing the potency of industries in the Regency of Bantul based on the aspect of human resource, location, investation, productivity, and intercorrelation.This research location took place in the Regency of Bantul, Province of Special Ragion of Yogyakarta. The analysis of data is descriptif methods, based on statistical data which available. This research findings are as follows: Based on the aspect of human resource, most of the characteristics and industry potentials in the Regency of Bantul were "low level" worker, but significant in absorbing workers. Based on the aspect of investment, small capital industry has better sustainability level compared with big capital industry. Bankings in the Regency of Bantul have important roles in the growth of industries, but investment from outside relatively small. Based on the aspect of productivity, it has not a good system of renumeration which available such as lower salary, and minimum of training activity for worker. It has influence to low level worker productivity and loyality to owner. Based on the aspect of location, the industries which located in Bantul can be categorized as industries which focus on worker. Based on the aspect of intercorellation, most of raw materials and supporting industry came from the Regency of Bantul. Most of big industries and middle industries were able to sold their product to outside Regency of Bantul. Kata Kunci: Industries
