摘要：The purpose of study was to determine the effect of Imagery and Modeling on accuracy inbadminton Drop Shot. Twenty-four males, were chosen by using purposive sampling technique. Eachone performed badminton drop shot 20 times in order to assign into experimental groups. Group 1practiced badminton drop shot with imagery training, Group 2 practiced badminton drop shot withmodeling training. Three times a week for eight weeks. The subjects were tested for drop shot abilitybefore training and after the 4th and 8th week of training. The results found that, the comparison within experimental groups, group 1 practiced badmintondrop shot with imagery training, and group 2 practiced badminton drop shot with modeling training, themean scores of badminton drop shot after the 8th week was significantly better than those before trainingand after the 4th week of training. Comparison among two experimental groups, before training and afterthe 8th week of training, there was not significantly different between group 1 and group 2. Results showedthat practiced badminton drop shot with imagery and practiced badminton drop shot with modelingtraining can improve performance,and both can be useful for coach to training athletes.Key Word : Imagery, Modeling, Badminton
