摘要：Se analiza el uso de la fotografía en el ámbito de la emisión y difusión de productos audiovisuales informativos por las cadenas españolas, valorando así la necesidad de contar con las costosas estructuras documentales de gestión fotográficas en las televisiones. Se aportan soluciones y alternativas para el control, acceso y uso de material fotográfico en los medios audiovisuales, analizando cómo desde bancos de imágenes externos, agencias gráficas e incluso desde el uso racional del propio archivo audiovisual digitalizado se podría contar con información visual a utilizar en aquellos momentos en que se estimase necesario.
