摘要:The object of this study is to examine job satisfaction level of academicians in Faculty of Education of Yıldız Technical University and Marmara University and to find out academicians’ perceptions of the additive and detrimental factors leading to an effect in their job satisfaction. Also this study compares academicians’ means according to academicians’ university department, gender, academic status, experience of being academician, income statue, marital status, their spouses’ educational background, their spouses’ job and number of children they have. This is a quantitative, qualitative study and survey type model is used. All of the 123 participants are the member of Faculty of Education. The data collection instruments used in the study is “Job Satisfaction Instrument” developed by Kuzgun, Sevim&Hamamcı (2011).
