  • 摘要:This paper examines the effectiveness and feasibility of a multisensory project which was introduced with the aim to foster bilingual development of immigrant children attending Greek primary education. A combination of the following measures were used: a) pre- and post- language tests in L1 and L2 administered to the children; b) pre- and post-measurements of creativity; f) journals kept by the teachers once a week; g) structured interviews conducted with the children at the end of the project; h) semi- structured interviews with the children's parents. The project fostered multisensory learning, and catered for the children's different learning styles, providing a beneficial environment and improved opportunities for dual language development.
