摘要:This paper aim is to reflect some conceptual issues on international student mobility and the impact of this programme on institutional quality; then, furthermore, it is presented a statistical overview of student mobility in Romania, focusing on the main problems encountered by Erasmus students. It is noticed that in Romania, just as in the new Member States, the participation rate tends to be lower than the European average rate and that Romania still battles with a present significant imbalance of income and outcome students. Romania as a member of the European Union has the obligation to help improving the participation in the Erasmus programme study in order to reach the target of three million student exchanges.
