摘要:Abstract The Watchdog Agent toolbox, developed by the Intelligent Maintenance System Center, has been successfully applied to several intelligent maintenance applications around the globe. The original versions of the tool are available either as a set of Matlab scripts, which can run on embedded PCs, or as Labview package, to run on National Instruments hardware, such as CompactRIO. This paper presents the implementation of a service-based interface to the Watchdog Agent tool in order to allow its use in a distributed manner, making it accessible by embedded devices. DPWS (Device Profile for Web Services) was selected as the technology for implementing this service-based interface because it has been developed for low end devices and, therefore, meets the aforementioned goals. The paper gives an overview on the implementation and includes a case study to demonstrate the achieved features.
