摘要:Abstract Intangible assets are great transforming drivers of enterprises and are a crucial part of their competitive advantage. The human capital has to be built with the creativity of the employees within the firm. Despite the phenomenal amount of papers published on creativity, few of them studied Small and Medium Enterprises (SME). Furthermore, they don't succeed to define the creative enterprise. A literature review on this subject made evident that a proper definition of a creative enterprise, especially a creative SME, does not exist and is important for this domain for the researchers as well as for the practitioners and has to include external characteristics of creative enterprises that are easy to recognize. This research is thus trying to answer the following question: “How should we define a creative SME?” Using a Delphi method with a group of experts, the researchers obtained a list of characteristics SMEs must have to be considered as creative. Those characteristics will then be usable to classify enterprises as creative or non-creative and lead to the second step of the research, a case-study on the internal factors affecting those external characteristics.
