摘要：Abstract Willingness to communicate and its antecedents were investigated through a structural model with the participation of 251 freshmen studying at a state university in Turkey. Quantitative data were analyzed via Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling. According to the results, all hypotheses were accepted which means participants⿿ attitude toward international community, their motivation to learn English, and their confidence in English communication have direct significant positive effect on their WTC in English. Additionally, participants⿿ attitude toward international community positively influences their motivation to use and learn English as well. Finally, participants⿿ personality influences their confidence in English communication.
