摘要：Bajo el punto de vista de las artes podríamos decir que un fractal es básicamente la expresión visual o auditiva e incluso espacial (con cualquier tipo de dimensión) de una expresión matemática. La particularidad de la creación artística con fractales consiste en que el algoritmo de la fórmula nos conduce a una progresión ascendente o descendente de la misma, y a la generación en el caso de imágenes, de expresiones visuales que se repiten y progresan hacia lo infinitamente grande o hacia lo infinitamente pequeño. Las posibilidades creativas de del mundo de los fractales son evidentemente infinitas y por ello este campo cautivó a los alumnos del Programa Estrella que tras una visita a una exposición decidieron practicar con estos modelos artísticos. Los resultados del primer taller realizado en el que participaron 20 alumnos entre 10 y 16 años no ha podido ser más positivos y enriquecedores para los alumnos ya que la encuesta realizada demuestra el aprendizaje y la motivación producida.
