摘要：Efficiency in the execution of routine administrative tasks in educational institutions, particularly those highly centralized tasks, greatly impacts the successful accomplishment of the primary academic tasks. In this paper we present the activities carried out in implementing a decentralized software assisted approach for scheduling classrooms in an educationalinstitution. Relevant issues concerning the development process of the software solution are presented, as well as issues related to introducing the software in the work environment and the associated human factors. In particular, we address issues concerning the approach’s acceptance by the members of the institution.
