摘要:Ontologies are knowledge repositories that can support a variety of educational applications. They can be used for navigation, adaptation, sharing, and cooperation purposes. Very little, however, has been done towards the use of ontologies in computerized knowledge assessment. Our research focuses on the use of ontologies as tools to support learning assessment via Concept Maps, minimizing the work overload on the teacher and simultaneously allowing for the use of constructivist practices. In this article, we analyze how ontologies and concept maps manage knowledge and analyze the requirements for ontology engineering in educational contexts. We present CMTool, a learning environment designed to support ontology creation, concept mapping, and computerized assessment.
