摘要:This paper presents simple tuning rules for low-order feedback and feedforward controllers based on an approximation of the filtered Smith predictor with closed-loop feedforward compensation. An analytical development is introduced to control stable first-order plus dead time processes affected by measurable disturbances that cannot be completely removed from the process output due to dead-time effects. Simulation results for the pH control of a tubular photobioreactor and the steam pressure control of an industrial boiler are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
