摘要：The present work has the objective to know the meaning of “local cities�? located in the savannah of Minas Gerais State, in especial those that possess total population between 20.000 and 50.000 inhabitants. So, we are considering the demographic aspects, including the urbanization degree, the economical conditions and the infra-structural base, especially as much as the transports, communications and electric power.
