摘要:Abstract This study was designed to investigate the effectiveness of life skills training on happiness, quality of life and emotion regulation in Tarbiat Moallem students. This study is a quasi-experimental with pre-test post test and control group design.26 students of Tarbiat Moallem University were randomly selected and assigned to two experimental and control group. The experimental group attended in sessions of life skills training (coping with negative mood, effective relationship, assertiveness, anger management and stress management) which altogether lasted for three hours. Oxford Happiness Questionnaire, World Health Organization Quality of Life Questionnaire and Shute Emotion Regulation Questionnaire were administered for both groups. Data were analyzed using ANCOVA and MANCOVA method. Life skills training showed to have made a significant difference in the scales of happiness and emotion regulation and quality of life in psychological health, social relationship and physical situation subscales. But there were no significant difference in the physical health subscale. Life skills’ training is an effective intervention for increasing happiness, quality of life and emotion regulation.
