摘要:Abstract Purpose: The present study was aimed to investigate any changes of identity exploration and commitment after three years passing in university context. Method: 80 freshmen and 65 senior students from University of Isfahan were chosen using stratified random sampling. Results: The results of the study indicated that the overall pattern of students’ exploration and commitment had remained constant (P=0.32), But their commitment decreased in the last year (P=0.001). Also, results demonstrated a significant difference between the two dimensions except for group membership (F(2, 144) =1.2, P=.334). Conclusion: the junior students’ commitment of both genders reduced in comparison to that of the freshmen meanwhile the exploration factor remained constant.
