摘要:Abstract The aim of this study was to check the psychometric Properties of the Academic Hope Scale for Iranian sample. The sample consisted of 283 high school student in Shiraz city in south of Islamic Republic of Iran. Three scale were used for data gathering in this research: The Academic Hope Scale, The Hope Scale, and The Academic Support Scale. Principal component factor analysis on the Academic Hope Scale (Persian Form) indicated a 2-factors solution: Agency and Pathway. The results revealed a good internal consistency for these two factors. Pearson correlation coefficient showed an acceptable convergent validity between the Academic Hope Scale with the Hope Scale and the Academic Support scale. In sum, the results showed a good validity and reliability properties for the Academic Hope Scale.
