摘要:Abstract The aim of the present study to investigate the effect of aerobic and anaerobic exercise on anxiety of 60 high school students in district one in Zanjan. Research method: It is applied and quasi-experimental. Statistical population are all high school students in Zanjan area in 2009-2010. Simple random sampling is used through which three groups were randomly assigned as aerobic exercise - Anaerobic exercise and control groups. Statistical methods for testing hypotheses are repeated measure analysis of variance and dependent T-student. The results suggest that the anxiety in both aerobic and anaerobic exercise group significantly decreased after providing independent variable. While the reduction in the control group was not significant.
